Jesus spoke more about hell than heaven. Why was that?
I was thinking of my husband’s testimony the other day. His mom sent her young children to a class with Miss Marianne to learn about God since they attended public school. One time, the teacher spoke about heaven and hell.
My husband, 10 years old at the time, after hearing about hell, said to himself, “who would want to go there?”
He’s a logical guy. So, he prayed that Jesus would forgive his sins and allow him to go to heaven. He didn’t get any Bible teaching until he was 28 years old. He always wanted to know who was right, with all the various religions and sects out there. He always told people he was a Christian if they asked him, because he believed in Jesus and all He did for us. We found a church that preached from God’s Word and my husband stopped sleeping in on Sundays to take the family to church. What a blessing!
